SECURED Project
5th Plenary Meeting

The SECURED project fifth plenary meeting took place on June 4–5, 2025, in the beautiful coastal city of Alghero, Sardinia, kindly hosted by our partners from the University of Sassari.

Over two productive and inspiring days, all project partners gathered to review the progress achieved so far and to align on the next steps towards the project’s ambitious objectives. The discussions covered both the technical and strategic aspects of SECURED, highlighting how the consortium’s collaborative efforts are advancing privacy-preserving data processing and secure innovation in the health sector.

Key topics on the agenda included:
🔹 Updates on the project’s main technical and research goals, with partners presenting the latest developments across the different work packages.
🔹 Progress in the Open Call activities and the preparation for the showcase of results from the selected external experiments.
🔹 Plans for the upcoming Second SECURED Webinar, which will demonstrate the tools and services that will be offered through the SECURED InnoHUB platform.
🔹 Organizational details for the SECURED Open Day in Rotterdam, scheduled for October 9th.
🔹 Preparations for the Second Demonstration Workshop, which will take place in Badalona, Spain on 3-4 December 2025, featuring live demonstrations of SECURED tools and services in action.

The meeting fostered valuable exchanges between partners, encouraging collaboration and integration of the InnoHUB components. The team also discussed the communication and dissemination strategy for the next phase of the project, ensuring that SECURED’s outcomes reach both the research community and potential end users in healthcare and beyond.
